baby k’tan weekender bag

Since having Carter we’ve become very picky when it comes to choosing which bags we travel with.  It has to fit all of her things + some of mamas, fit underneath the seat of the airplane, keep her food cold and have a changing pad.

We found the Baby K’tan Weekender bag + haven’t looked back since. It met all of our requirements plus some!

The weekender bag has so many great amenities for parents of little’s like an easy access wipe dispenser, a padded nylon changing pad, and a full size insulated cooler packet! A big bonus for us is the padded tech pocket which makes it easy for us to travel with our laptops.

If you’re a mama that travels a lot like we do, this bag is a dream that you must try!

nursing in the baby k'tan baby carrier

DSC05440.jpg

How do I get things done around the house with a clingy + teething toddler? I snuggle her into the Baby K'tan Baby Carrier + let her nurse. This allows me to be hands free, soak in the snuggles + clean up the house.

Not only does the Baby K'tan giving me the ability to have both hands, it keeps Carter from treating me like a jungle gym while nursing! Mamas who nurse little movers + shakers - you know what I'm talking about!

To nurse in the Baby K'tan I put Carter in the hug position, slide her down a little further than normal, shift her to one side and nurse her on the other. It's comfortable for both of us!

Have you tried to nurse in a carrier? Do you love it as much as I do?

a little trip to hood river

IMG_1374.JPG

This weekend we drove up to Hood River with our friends for the day + had so much fun eating + drinking all the things while our little ones played.

On our way home we stopped at Sugarpine, the C U T E S T little drive-in right on the banks of the Sandy River. I had seen so many people posting about this little place the past few weeks + had to check it out.

Carter was thrilled to have her very own first ice cream cone with sprinkles + mamas were happy to sip on some frozé.
